Our MissionIndependent Laser has 2 primary goals: 1. We want to provide the best qualified service and parts to anyone seeking out a trusted service provider, or an alternative to the manufacturer, or the current technician employed who is falling short in the service or parts they provide. 2. We also want to provide the market with quality pre-owned lasers, chillers and accessories, and provide highly qualified service after the sale and warranty is over. We are here to do what most companies have forgotten, and that is put the customers concerns, care and service, ahead of easy profit. Independent Laser will never leave a customer feeling helpless after a sale or any service we do.
Company ProfileIndependent Laser has only been officially established in 2008, but has been operational since approximately 2005 mainly due to the overwhelming demand from customers who have been left with little to no options when it comes to getting proper care and service for which the manufacturer had failed to provide. As the founder of Independent Laser, I carry an Associate degree as a Medical Laser Technician, from what was once one of the best programs in the nation, out of Wausau, WI's NCTC. Ever since 2000, I have been employed by the largest 3rd party laser service company in the country, and then later by Cynosure Laser, for which valuable knowledge had been gained through training, but mainly hands on repair and problem solving that can't be taught in training on lasers that are new to the market, but could only be learned while out in the field figuring things out. "You can only teach a good technician so much, but a great technician takes it upon themselves to learn all they can, as well as solve there own problems, and in turn teaches themselves." The primary goal any company should have is to provide the best most honest services possible in an effort to grow as a business, and to build up other businesses that provide support through employment of services, and the purchase of quality products/parts. Unfortunately many manufacturers or 3rd party companies only state such claims only to have failed in supporting what they sell, or manufacture, or being able to provide qualified service, or quality parts for your expensive equipment. Independent Laser realizes that there is a void in the laser industry that needs to be filled and will do our best to do whatever it takes to lead the industry in customer care. As the industry grows, we must grow together, in support of a vast number of laser systems. Unfortunately due to the quantity of manufacturer models it's impossible to be able to know and service all of them as they should be, by qualified service people. Independent Lasers is continually learning and growing to service more laser types, but will only service lasers for which we can give the best possible care. Unlike many 3rd party companies, we specialize only in particular makes and models for which we are highly experienced and qualified. Independent Laser would like to be the one you trust to purchase your used laser, or provide service or parts for your already existing laser. Unlike almost all other sales oriented companies, your left high and dry for service once the short warranty is up. Many times your referred to the manufacturer who wants nothing to do with you, or wants a huge payday to look at the laser since you didn't purchase it from them. Many sales companies send the cheapest technician in they can find when the laser breaks under warranty. Whether the technician is qualified to know what they are doing, or just know enough to get by fixing the problem at hand, but don't bother to fix, or replace wore parts because the warranty is close to expiration, and then the customer is on there own. Many times a laser owner thinks the manufacturer builds bad lasers, when in most cases, for the lasers we work on, it's poor and under qualified service people from the manufacturer or 3rd party, working on the laser. One of the biggest mistakes made is to assume a laser is in good working order just because it's functioning while in use, when in fact it could be strapped with multiple issues causing it to work very inefficient many times blowing costly power supplies and pump chambers prematurely. We are here to change all this. Independent Laser not only has a vested interest in selling you quality used lasers, but we also have a vested interest in being the service provider you call when preventive maintenance is due or that unsuspected accident/failure occurs. We stand behind what we sell, because we service what we sell, and know that for our survival we must provide the best all around care possible. We are here not only to provide a service, but to become business partners with the common goal not just to survive, but to grow and expand in this business together.
Anyone providing service on behalf of Independent Laser is Ansi Laser Safety certified. All technicians carry manufacturer service certification on lasers being serviced.
